El 29 de abril de 1988, en tercera vuelta, se impusieron Armando Bertranou y Ricardo Sardi.

El 27 de abril de 1990 Bertranou es reelecto en tercera vuelta.En esta oportunidad lo acompaña Ramón Piezzi en el vicerrectorado.

Ambos son reelectos en tercera vuelta el 27 de abril de 1992.

El 27 de abril de 1994 Armando Bertranou consiguió el rectorado por cuarta vez. En este caso, lo acompañó José Francisco Martín como vicerrector.
