The Final Conference

The Final Conference “Protect and Secure Worship- Protecting and Securing our Religious Heritage through Multisectoral Collaboration” took place on Tuesday, 25 April 2023 | 09:00 – 15:30 EET. The Conference was organised by Centre for Social Innovation, SAHER Europe, and RESET, and was under the Auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Justice and Public Order, and with the Official Support of Cyprus Police and the Municipality of Nicosia. The conference was in hybrid format allowing for both physical participation at Chateau Status, Nicosia, Cyprus and online participation via the livestream at the PROSECUW YouTube Channel.

The Conference brought together 30 speakers from all over Europe and kickstarted the space for open dialogue, exchange of valuable knowledge and practices, creation of local and international synergies and cooperation among them, with the ultimate goal to develop their capacity to counteract radicalisation and hate-speech, in an effort to promote inter-religious respect and diversity.

PROSECUW Hub

The PROSECUW Hub is in full activation across all partner countries. We so far have a total of 86 members on the Hub including religious leaders, law enforcement agents, academic researchers, NGOs and local associations, municipalities and policy makers on the protection and security at places of worship.

All members have met and have developed solid actions to produce new knowledge, awareness, and develop greater capacity for action with regards to protecting places of worship. Join the Hub here, and gain access to the first EU Network on securing and protecting religious freedom and places of worship.
