Coelophysis est un genre de dinosaures théropodes parmi les plus anciens. Ce théropode de taille moyenne est apparu au début du Trias, durant la période du Trias supérieur et vécut jusqu’au Jurassique inférieur. Très répandu, Coelophysis était présent en Amérique du Nord, en Afrique et en Asie. La découverte d’un rand nombred’individus à Ghost Ranch, au Nouveau Mexique, a permis de mettre en évidence le caractère grégaire de Coelophysis. En e et, ce dinosaure devait vivre en groupe et chasser en meute.

Aquest teròpode de mida mitjana va
aparèixer a principis del Cretaci, durant el
Triàsic Superior i va viure ns al JuràssicInferior. Coelo sis estava molt estesa a Amèrica del Nord, Àfrica i Àsia. El descobriment d'un gran nombre d'individus al Ghost Ranch, Nou Mèxic, van destacar la naturalesa gregària de la Coel·lo si.
En efecte se suposa que aquest dinosaure vivia en
grups i caçava en llescos.

oldest theropod dinosaurs. This
medium-sized theropod appeared at the
beginning of the Cretaceous, during theUpper Triassic period and lived until the Lower Jurassic period. Coelophysis waswidespread and found in North America, Africaand Asia. The discovery of a large number of individuals at Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, highlighted the gregarious nature of Coelophysis. Indeed, this dinosaur had to live in groups and hunt in packs.
