-It is based on the basic skills of throwing and receiving, therefore, it can be started by grouping the students in pairs and then followed by the number of participants.
-This technical work can be carried out in a playful way through tag games, relay games, where the ring is the main element.
Tactical skills:
-It is very important to work on an effective occupation of space, effective displacements, as well as the search for free spaces in order to produce difficulties for the reception of the ring by the adversaries.
HOW TO PLAY
In a team game two rings are used, one for each team. Team games begin with a 'ringo' serve from behind each team's end line. Changes to serve after 3 points have been awarded to a side. When one of the rings hits the ground, the players continue until the second ring hits the ground.
In a singles game, the serving player begins with a single ring serve from behind the baseline, while the opponent waits for the ring in their half of the court. When the hoop is caught, the player must immediately throw it over the net in such a way that it is difficult for the opponent to catch it. A point is scored if the opponent does not catch the ring. The game continues until one of the players makes a mistake or fails to catch the hoop.
SCORING
The referee counts the points scored by each team. Points are scored when: 1) A player does not catch the ring correctly (the ring must be caught with one hand. If it is caught with both hands, this is a foul) or does not catch it at all, 2) A player
change the hoop from one hand to another: a flying hoop can only be caught and thrown with the same hand, 3) A hoop hits the ground or the net or misses the opposite half of the court, 4) The player loses contact with the ground in the act of shooting (one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times), 5) The pitcher begins but does not continue the act of pitching and therefore attempts to fake a pitch. on the network, 6) The 'ringo' flies vertically, 7) A player takes more than one step forward in the act of shooting, 8) A player holds the hoop for more than 5 seconds. A Ringo match usually ends with 2 or 3 15-point games, switching sides after every 8 points. If there is a tie (14:140, each team tries to get to a 2-point lead as soon as possible.
