Creating a Course in the Master Schedule
Creating a Course in the Master Schedule
In ESP: menu>scheduling>courses>course sections>master schedule
When on the master schedule search page, click on the + icon
Make sure your building is in the building field. Enter the course in the course field. Once the course has been entered and you click on the tab key, the section will populate.
Things to look at: Periods – all courses must have a designated period. Ex: Reading per 1, Math per 2, Science per 3, etc. Primary, Secondary and Room fields will need to be updated and correct staff will need to be entered.

Master Schedule Block Report
Cognos>team content>alief reports>scheduling center>master schedule block report
Once you have built your courses and your blocks in the master schedule, you are now able to run your Master Schedule Block Report. The school year you select would be the ending year. For 2022-2023, you would select 2023. Then you would select your building and click on finish.
This is what the Block Report looks like. You would have a different sheet for each Block of courses Using this report also helps when it is time to give your students course requests.
