Click "All courses" to see every class you have enrolled in past or present. Courses in the "All courses" menu are marked with a star icon.

  • Clicking the star icon will turn it red/orange and make the course visible on your dashboard.
  • Clicking the icon again will turn the star transparent and hide the course from your dashboard.

Recommended Notification Settings:

These notifications are those that are forward outside of Canvas. All notifications will be immediate with in Canvas and we can't change that.

  1. Set a daily summary to come to your Proxlearn Email Address.
  2. The items that we recommend that you have daily notifications for are:
    1. Invitations:
      1. When a new course is added to your course list.
    2. Submissions:
      1. When students turn in work
    3. Late grading:
      1. When students turn in work late.
    4. Recording Ready:
      1. Zoom recordings ready to publish.
  3. Set an immediate notification for:
    1. Conversation Message:
      1. Emails from students into your Canvas Inbox.
    2. Submission Comment:
      1. When students post or reply to a comment on their submissions.
A great way to discuss, extend, or apply corrections to a piece of work. Due to PLI policy, we do NOT recommend adding a secondary email or phone number to your notification settings. If you feel this is necessary, please discuss with your TLS and come to Office hours for help setting it up.
