In this presentation, we will review two key strategies for you to use on the Math section of the ACT test.

Plug In The Answers
The first strategy I will introduce is PITA, which stands for Plug In The Answers.

Plug In The Answers
Use this strategy when there are variables in the question and numbers in the answer choices
Start with the middle answer choice and plug it in for the variable in the question
If the middle answer choice is not correct, adjust upwards or downwards based on if your results were too small or large
Use your calculator to plug in, as well as mental math when possible. Click here to learn more:
