Photochemical Smog

Photochemical smog is the result of chemical reactions from the substances of primary pollutants that is absorbed and reactant to ultraviolet light, creating a brown haze over an area, most commonly in cities.

What is photochemical smog? Photochemical smog is a type of air pollution that had originated in Los Angeles back in 1940. This kind of pollution is caused by the effects of vehicle emissions, and manufacturing by burning fossil fuels.
