What if we incorporate comic strips into our lessons? Students could be creative and demonstrate their learning.

Canva has hundreds of comic strip templates and thousands of backgrounds, objects, and characters to make professional-looking comic strips.

Where do I start?

Step 1: Find a Template

Start by searching for 'comic strip' in Canva

You'll find lots of options with different themes, styles, and layouts. Many also include resource packs with chat bubbles and characters!

Step 2: Set the stage

LAYERING

Search for backgrounds and props on the elements tab. Use keywords like 'classroom', 'comic', 'background', etc. to refine your search. You can also filter your searches.

Double-click on an image or element to make adjustments. You can crop elements to fit a panel or zoom in/out to create a change in perspective.

Select an object and click on the 3 dots to find the Layer menu. Bring objects forward or send them backward to provide depth to your comic strip scenes.
