What is the advantage?
- Verify Customer needs before contracting.
- Assess the Payload performance due to evolution in the time of uplink/downlink configurations, according to the availabilities.
- Perform some simulations and save it.
- Assess the feasibility of a new frequency plan for DSR/FCP (Link Budget & MCM checks incl.)
- Verify that current Customers are not impacted by new Satellite configuration.
- Send the planification to the MCM.

Capacity Planner is a technical Eutelsat software that is used for the capacity planning of the DTP satellites .
This software has been conceived to simulate and schedule frequency plans.
