What Does This Represent?
Flexibility. This virtual booklist and accompanying physical display was created to connect teachers with library resources. This project allowed me to adapt to a new digital communication tool, Microsoft Sway. Flexibility was critical as I learned how to best utilize this tool for our teachers' needs (ex: selecting grade-appropriate books, placing holds in our library catalog, etc.).

What Does This Represent?
Connection. Students filled out these National Reading Month bingo boards in order to branch out to different genres. The activity represents my commitment to getting to know students on an individual-level. By forming these connections, I was able to encourage students to explore new books that still aligned with their interests. I consistently helped students checkout books that fufilled the bingo requirements, but also got them excited about new types of stories.

What Does This Represent?
Leadership. Students in grades 4-5 conducted research on sea turtles and then completed a Minecraft for Education coding activity related to this endangered species. The weeks-long process gave me the opportunity to guide students by preparing a lesson plan, providing live demonstrations, emphasizing the importance of responsible research, and providing support to both groups and individuals.
