start the process by clicking on point a in the picture
From a to b, the solution is pumped to a higher pressure but with very limited temperature increase.
now click on b
The solution is preheated in the heat exchanger from b to c.
now click on c
From c to d, heat is supplied to the solution in the generator and this desorbs the refrigerant from the solution. The solution is fully heated in the generator to a high pressure and high temperature refrigerant vapour that goes to the condenser.
now click on d
The solution which now contains less refrigerant, flowing out of generator, is cooled in the heat exchanger (d to e) and then throttled to a low evaporation pressure (e to f) before it enters the absorber.
now click on f
f to a: In the absorber the refrigerant vapour from the evaporator is absorbed into the solution containing low refrigerant which came from the generator. End of interactive. Click here to return to the start if you wish. Otherwise click Continue to move on.
