What are Object Pronouns?

Object pronouns are words that replace the object of a sentence — the person or thing that receives the action of the verb. For example: I love her. → “Her” receives the action “love.”

Where do we use Object Pronouns?

After the verb (they receive the action): I see the book. → I see it. She loves John. → She loves him. We like the cats. → We like them.

Where do we use Object Pronouns?

After a preposition (like to, for, with, about): This gift is for Mary. → This gift is for her. Can I go with John? → Can I go with him? The teacher is talking to us.
