Example: The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games takes place in Panem, a region broken up into twelve districts controlled by the Capitol. People in districts are poverty stricken while those in the Capitol gain from their work and live in luxury.

Suzzane Collins was a child when her father was fighting in the Vietnam War. She wrote The Hunger Games after clicking through TV channels and finding both a comeptition reality TV show and news coverage of the war in Iraq. She wrote the book in the early 2000s in the United States of America.
