Both Cocaine and Methamphetamine are highly addicive drugs, which send high levels of dopamine into the reward pathway. This buildup causes intense feelings of energy and alertness called a high, which is why unexpected side-effects are experienced as an after-math. The more often the drug is used and depended on, the more dangerous the consequences are.
