Remember that present is formed with have + past participe of the main verbs. Regular verbs form the past participle with the help of -ed: started, signed, invented, and irregular verbs have a special form that you may check in a dictionary.
Now observe how questions are formed in present perfect. Note that these questions can also be negative. Negative questions are usually used to check the information that you already know.
Remember that present perfect is used:
- To talk about actions that happend in the recent past but their results are still influencing the present.
- To talk about actions that happened at an unspecified time in the past.
- To say that an actions or event has been repeated a number of times up to now.
