Background

Introduction

Zouak Marco is a new business and new business model in Morocco. It brings designs from the Moroccan craft of Zouak, intricate traditional designs painted on wood, to wearable items such as tote bags, t-shirts, coffee cups, and more. All designs have been digitally redrawn by hand to preserve the artisanal spirt of zouak. Items will be for sale in person at zouak artists' workshops in Fes, Morocco, Riad Dar Coco (an 18th century house and coliving/coworking facility) and online via a print on demand model.
