A cave! This looks promising. Is that the sound of running water? Maybe there is fresh water inside? Maybe even a boat? Click on the cave to enter or the arrow to return to the beach.
Oh! A message in the bottle! You can click the bottle to smash it and look at the paper inside of hit the arrow key to turn arround
continue
Enter the word you formed that tells you where to look next.

It's a treasure chest! To open it up click on the treasure or hit the arrow to head back toward the safety of the beach.
Velocity Acceleration Mass Inertia Friction Speed
The change in velocity of a body or object The amount of matter in an object The distance traveled over a certain unit of time The speed and direction of a moving object The resistance of an object to a change in motion The force that opposes the movement of one object or substance past another
A treasure map! Surely you'll find jewels and riches! Solve the puzzle by matching the term to the definition to find out where to look! You'll know you made it when you find that X marks the spot!
continue
Use the button to persue looking for the buried treasure. Each location will have that button so you always know where you are and where you've been. X marks the spot for the treasure.
You found coconuts. It's a lovely snack out here. Unfortunately they don't help you escape the island
X marks the spot! Here be treasure! Click the X to get to the treasure or use the arrow to head back.
There are 2 boxes. You investigated and found the larger, heavier one needs a key. The smaller one needs a code. There is a clue on the bottom of the chest.
[Hint: Use the law number (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in the correct answer order to unlock the next code. Example: If question 1 is an example of Newton’s 2nd Law, then the first number in the lock code is 2.]
continue
Determine which of Newton’s 3 laws of motion is shown in the examples below: 1. You move backward when you are roller skating and hit into the wall 2. A soccer ball moves when it is kicked 3. More force is needed to accelerate a sled that is twice the mass of another 5. A hockey puck will continue to travel in a straight line until it hits the net of the goal
You need the correct key to unlock this.
Use Newton's laws to unlock

You discovered a chest in a watery cave. There is a set of keys, but they are attached to a cave column. There is something etched into the rock. It looks like a clue to the lock. Click the keys to investigate or hit the arrow to go back.

When a car starts suddenly, the lower part of the body which is in contact with the car is in motion. But the upper part is still at rest. Hence, the passanger will move backwards in to the seat. but when the car stops suddently, the lower part of the body which is in contact with the car stops and the upper part is still in motion causing the passanger to be pushed forward.

I have reason to believe that Newton was onto something with his laws of motion. As such I have used those very laws as clues for the food, water, and boat that will help lead to escaping this island.
If you are reading this it means you have undertood my clues. Fantastic! I am Dr. Finnegan.
