Room Hints
Clicking the nameplate for each room will display a window with the hint for that room. The template is already pre-loaded with hints leading players to the solution of Mrs. Teal with the tablet in the Library. If you're good with this solution, there is no need to alter the room hints the first time around. Change the hints on subsequent occasions to lead players to different solutions.
When a player selects the magnifying glass in the middle of the game board, they are taken to a page with two parts: a link to a Google Form in which players will enter the three components of their proposed solution (character, device, room) and a space to enter the door code to win the game. Access the Google Form HERE (it will force a copy). It is already set up to accept Mrs. Teal, tablet, and library as the correct solution. You do not need to change this the first time around. To change the solution on subsequent occasions, just make the new correct answers branch to sections 3, 5, and 7, respectively. If also changing the door code, you can do that in section 7. Once your Form is ready to go, select Send-->Link Icon--> Copy. In the Genially editor, change the link for the Solution button on page 4 to the link you just copied. The default door code on the template is 5942357 and doesn't need to be changed the first time around. On subsequent occasions, first change the code in the Google Form, then change the code in the Genially by selecting the key icon and entering the new door code in the PASSWORD field.
Access THIS GENIALLY, then click REUSE THIS GENIALLY to make your copy. Insert your content for the questions and answer choices. Default number of questions is 20. Feel free to add or reduce questions; just be sure the final question loops back to question 1. Once finished, select ALL SET! and choose your desired options to publish the Genially. Select Share->Insert and copy the IFRAME code. Go back into the Genially editor for the main Hint game and delete the placeholder Hint Questions. Insert your customized Question Cards by selecting Insert-->Others, pasting the iframe code you copied, then selecting the Insert button. Resize/reposition the embedded form so it fits in the space.
