What is the verb to be?

The verb “to be” is an irregular verb that means in Spanish "ser o estar", depending on the context it can adopt either of these two translations.

Depending on the situation we are talking about, we can find one of the two meanings mentioned above (ser o estar), here are the different occasions in which the verb to be can be used:
