Customer orders fried chicken, gets fried rat?

A clear example of fake news is the history of Devorise Dixon, a customer that assured he received a rat rather than a piece of chicken in the restaurant KFC.

Using some of the indicators of the Trust Project it is possible to ensure that news is fake.

Dixon’s purpose was to gain popularity, as Dixon obtained more the 4,250 friend requests on Facebook by his fake news.

Dixon is not an expert scientist that could affirm the piece came form of a rat.

Other than Dixon, there is no other testimony of fact or support that the restau-rant manager acknowl-edged that the piece was from a rat and offered Dix-on a meal free.

Although photos and a video are available, there is no DNA study to confirm that the piece belonged to a rat.

Dixon refused to either talk to the company, personally or through a lawyer in order to find out what happened and tested the chicken piece at an independent lab free of charge.

A laboratory test was later conducted and it was con-cluded that the piece was chicken.

Apparently, the company was affected by those kinds of news and the quality of their services is doubtful
