Diagnosis

The person I have diagnosed is a 43-year-old woman. Her name is Dunia. She has black hair and is small and talkative. In addition, she has many likes, such as skating, decorating, cleaning, dancing, singing, cooking, sewing, handicrafts and shopping; and she loves animals, such as cats, dogs, unicorns, donkeys, goats, ducks, chickens, butterflies, birds, etc; and angels. Finally, she said that she likes English very much and would like to learn it, because for her it can improve people's opportunities in and out of a country. She has prior knowledge of some colors and numbers.

Methodological route

For the methodological route in the literacy process that I will use with Dunia I will begin by teaching her topics about pronouns, clothes, animals, colors, numbers, professions, cleaning products, verb to be and present progressive, and demonstratives.For example, as she likes to go shopping, I can draw different clothes and 2 people (a man and a woman), this way I will teach her the vocabulary while we place one by one each garment to the people. Therefore, for the teaching process I will use real material, images, videos, drawings, etc., to make it more meaningful and attractive to her likes. Another example is that we can watch a simple sewing video and see the steps. Then, I show her the steps we have seen in the video unordered in pictures and ask her to order them and say them. In summary, these are some ideas in which I will develop the literacy process with Dunia, but I will apply more depending on her needs and learning process.
