GROUP 3
WHAT IS THE THEORY OF ACQUIRED TRAITS?
-According to Lamarck Acquired Characteristics is an organism that changes during life in order to adapt to its environment, those changes are passed on to its offspring.
Example:
Lamarck believed that a giraffe's neck could elongate over a lifetime of straining to reach high branches. When they are reaching branches on a tree, they keep on streching thier neck to reach it, and then their offspring inherited long necks.
