What is Feeding America?

Feeding America is a non-profit organization tackling the issue of World Hunger

They have been helping the less fortunate since 1979! Originally formed in Phoenix and now based in Chicago, Feeding America envisions, "an America where no one is hungry" (About). Through food banks and fundraisers, their organization works to accomplish this goal.

"The Feeding America Network serves more than 9 million children in America alone" ("Facts"). Considering the 2021 estimates of children in America, that is roughly one in every eight children. Our charity has a 99% efficiency set by Charity Navigator, which is one of the highest possible, basically meaning what you donate will go to feeding the hungry and nothing else. Feeding America also has a 100% impact rating meaning their donations do the most for the people they help.

The True Struggle...

Millions in the US deal with starvation, feel hopeless and don’t want to live with the pain they have. You have probably felt hungry for a few minutes when you haven’t had food for a little. You feel fatigued, have stomach pain, and don’t want to move. All you wanted is to have some food. Imagine how much internal pain these starving humans have, having to deal with starvation their whole lives. However, you can help. With your donation, food will be bought to stop hunger all over the United States.
