- Gli avverbi di frequenza si usano per indicare la frequenza con cui si svolge un'azione.- Gli avverbi di frequenza sono di norma posti prima del verbo principale: She always drives to work. - Seguono però il verbo essere: Frank is often late.
SOMETIMESSometimes può anche essere posto all'inizio o alla fine della frase. I sometimes walk to school. Sometimes I walk to school I walk to school sometimes.
Watch out!In italiano mai si usa insieme alla negazione: Non guardo mai la TV. In inglese never si usa con una frase affermativa: I never watch TV.

- Di solito nelle frasi negative al Present Simple si usa la forma contratta (short form) We don't speak Spanish.- La 3 persona singolare negativa del Present Simple si forma con doesn't e la forma base del verbo He doesn't play tennis.

La forma interrogativa è formata da: DO/DOES + SOGGETTO + FORMA BASE DEL VERBO + OGGETT0 Do you like broccoli?
- Le domande del Present Simple si costruiscono con do o doesDo you play the piano? - Nelle risposte brevi si usa solamente do/ does oppure don't/ doesn't Do you listen to Lady Gaga? Yes, I do./ No, I dont'.
