On Holy Friday, after the celebration on Calvary of the Passion of the Lord and the Way of the Cross through the streets of the Old City, one of the most precious moments is the evening funeral procession to the Holy Sepulcher. Here, a real funeral is celebrated for Jesus who died on the cross, according to an ancient custom.
