The success of the administration depends on your understanding of AP policy and procedures for administering the exams.
Proctor Duties: Before Testing
TO DO BEFORE TESTING:
1. Be familiar with AP Exam administratio and security proedures - Part 2 AP Coodinator Manual 2. Read specific Exam Instructions 3. Ensure proper testing environment 4. Ensure all materials are correct for the test being proctored
Proctor Duties: During Testing
Distribute Proper Materials, Maintain Secure Environment
To Do During Exam
Ensure students properly complete ID info.
Ensure testing environment is secure and appropriate
Distribute correct testing materials appropriately
Actively monitor
Proctor Duties: After Testing
Collect, Account, Secure, and Return Materials
TO DO AFTER TESTING:
1. Collect and Account for all exams 2. Ensure students correctly completed ID information 3. Return all testing materials to AP Coordinator.
Schedules
Be aware of your schedule and tesing timing
AP ID Labels
Each kid has their own label. Be aware of where these labels should be applied. ALL ID LABELS NEED TO BE COLLECTED AT THE END OF EXAMS
Room Set-up
College-Board is particular.
- Correct testing materials
- Ensure you have needed testing supplies
- Correct adherence to AP Seating Policies
- Proper number of tables and chairs
- Students are no less than 5 feet apart.
- All desks are facing the same direction.
Checking in students
Secure Room, Verify Student w/ Roster
Proper check-in procedures include:
- Proctor arrives at indicated time in schedule
- Proctor marks the roster accordingly
- Proctor assigns students seats
- Proctor completes seating chart
- Ensure students have only allowed materials.
- Collect Cell Phones and other electronic devices.

General and Specific Instructions
Know the difference and know when to read each set of isntructions.
***All subjects need to begin with General Exam Instructions.*** Start Subject specific instrucitons only within the allowed time-frame. Follow instructions as written.

After the Exam
Before you dismiss the students....
- Collect all test books
- Collect all ID labels
- Make sure seating chart is filled
- Gather any additional materials CDs Pencils, rulers, etc.
- Return all material to 140

Students with Accommodations
Students will be given extedned time usually 50% more than the general time. All students will have an NAR ( nonstandard Administration report) that will be in your folder. You will need to write down how much time a student uses during the exam and each section.
All students must stay until the whole test is done, they move as a group. If the whole room is finished with extra time left, then you may move on to the next section.
