It is a film based on the true story of Patrick Chamusso born in 1949 in Mozambique, a member of the African National Congress party in South Africa who participated in militant actions during the Apartheid period.

However, the policeman understands that he is innocent and decides to release him.Following this he decided to join the Umkhonto we Sizwe, the armed faction of the ANC.He will later return to South Africa after months of hard training where this time he will orchestrate a new attack at the refinery. After months on the run, he will be found and sentenced to 24 years in prison on Robben Island.

This film takes place in South Africa. The story of Patrick Chamusso, a young black South African aged 28 who leads an ordinary life. In 1980, Nic Vos, a white policeman, arrested Patrick along with two other black colleagues. To protect his marriage and his son, Patrick decides not to say where he was and to hide the truth. He is therefore arrested and tortured for a crime he did not commit.
