Each Opportunity Stage must have a predefined Group selected in the Stage Sub Table.

If you need another Group option, create it in the Group Sub Table first then you can select it in the Stage Sub Table.

Repfabric gives a few Types to start. Your leadership team can add more as you see fit.

On build the Lead Source Sub Table is blank.

Edit Stage's Status and Group

When you change the activity “Stage” in an opportunity, the “Status” changes automatically to “Customer/Manufacturer info required.” There is one other choice, “Needs Review.” IF you have an email linked to the opportunity, AND the customer was the last person to reply to the email string, the “Status” will automatically change to “Needs Review.” This is so that when you are looking at your list of opportunities, you can use the drop-down in the top left corner and select “Needs Review.” You will see all the opportunities that need your attention. You can, of course, switch it to “Needs Review” manually if you need to. What this boils down to is that you can change the wording of “Customer info Required” or “Manufacturer info Required” and that’s it. You can’t have more than 2 choices for “Status,” and one of them has to be “Needs Review.”

Each Opportunity Stage must have a predefined Status selected in the Stage Sub Table.

If you need another Status option, create it in the Status Sub Table first then you can select it in the Stage Sub Table.

Types

You may want to determine what portion of your team's opportunities are commercial, residential, governmental, etc.

Lead Source

You may want to recognize partners who make quality referrals. Other firms hold their reps accountable for X number of self-generated leads per month or quarter.

Opportunity Stage and Stage Group

Stages are the phases of your team's Sales Funnel or Sales Process. Stage Group is mainly used for reporting or viewing opportunities on screen. If you have different “Opportunity Stages” i.e. ‘Quote requested’, ‘Quote submitted’, and ‘Quote approved’, you might want to have a Stage Group for “Quotes.”

Activity Journal Canned Note Sub Table.

You can create a list of Canned Notes available under the Default list that will show up under every Manufacturer/Principal. Or you can select specific manufacturer(s)/principal(s) to have their own specific Canned Notes.

If you add a new Manufacturer/Principal Company Profile, you will need to make that new manufacturer available in “Activity Journals.” Go to Settings > Sub Tables > Activity Journal Manufacturer List > and move the new manufacturer from the left side (does NOT show in AJ list) to the right side.

Activity Journal Call Type must have a default selected in the Sub Table.

You can also decide to have certain Call Types (such as a Call Plan) excluded from the morning email report.
