What they are?

They are a type of transformation of the molecules contained inside a cell of the body.

There are many different reactions

Photosynthesis

Respiration

And we call the photosynthesis as reaction, because the plants are also transforming molecules of inside their body.They transform the H2O, sunlight and CO2 into O2 and sugars, that they use as fuel.

We call respiration a biological reaction , because there is a change in the molecules inside our body.We change and expel the CO2 from our body, and replace it by O2.
