The Medieval Inquisition
The medieval inquisition was an institution that was formed in 1478 by the Catholic kings to maintain religious unity within their kingdoms. In Spain it ended on February 28, 1813 in the Cortes of Cádiz
The inquisition is not a Spanish invention as many think, but people associate it with Spain thanks to the Spanish black legend
Chronology
Historical context
In 1492 Christopher Columbus discovered America crossing from Huelva to Central America on the Santa María along with two other ships.
In 1789 the French revolution or people's revolution began thanks to the abuse of power of the French monarchy, which ended the monarchy forever in France
In the world in general at that time there were many epidemics and wars between countries
The medieval inquisition was created by the Catholic kings to maintain religious unity within their kingdoms and fight against apostasy and later against the heresy.

The victim was placed lying down and a long piece of wood was placed on top of him, stones or different heavy objects were placed on top of the wood, sometimes causing death
The victim was naked and was positioned with her tailbone on the tip of a sharp prism. Little by little, while the executioner pulled the ropes that held the victim, the tip was penetrated more
The victim was put inside a metallic structure, so that when the door of that structure was closed, spikes were stuck that could move from place inside the victim
The victim was tied face down to a wooden post, a saw was passed between her legs until it reached her breasts
