Summary
This is how I created an online/blended learning course for tutors to use to directly teach, students to catch up on, and give extra resources for tutorial within Myerscough College. The site was catered for learning mentors to be able to use the resources to teach and learners to be able to catch up on work or take further study. The idea for this blended learning approach was to save time during the lesson, support students' learning and to have all the resources for tutors to deliver.
Principles of Flexibility
- 1. Prepare in advance for live teaching sessions
- 2. Catch-up independently if live sessions have been missed
- 4. Work through aspects of their learning at their own pace
- 5. Co-construct digital spaces in which to work with their peers
Idea/Premise

- 2. Catch-up independently if live sessions have been missed
- 4. Work through aspects of their learning at their own pace
- Use of Canva and Canvas for ease of design
- Consistent Design/brand linked to Myerscough appealing to young people and subject matters
- Clear cut design, easy to navigate (needs to motivate learners to use)
- Resources available before the lesson
- Resources available after the lesson
- Digital activities for tutors to use in lesson and learners to use after lesson e.g. reflection activities, assessment activities
- Links to further learning
