Japan geography

to begin with, I will tell you about its geography. Japan is an archipelago located off the coast of Asia. Mount Fuji has an altitude of 3776 m making it the highest mountain in Japan. Japan has 47 prefectures, which geographically and historically can be divided into eight regions: Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, Chubu, Kinki, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu-Okinawa.
