Biography

My name is Thakane Mofokeng, an advanced photography student at the Vaal University of Technology. Born and bred in the Free State in a small town called Phuthaditjhaba in Qwaqwa. I left in 2019 to come to the Vaal to pursue my studies at Sedibeng College and then a year later, in 2020 I enrolled for Photography at VUT. In my years of study, I have always been a versatile media practitioner. in my second year, I entered a biennial competition which was recommended by my lecturer Mr Doman and my image was then exhibited in Novi Sad and included in the catalogue of exhibition. I am still entering competitions in Gurushots in order to put my work out there for the world to see and be inspired.

I am not a very good communicator. However, when given a task I execute it well.

I am employable because I have numerous editing skills that are submerged with my soft skills mentioned above. I am a very pationate person, I love what I do and I enjoy helping people out. I treat any work given with much joy and pride and I make sure to do it perfectly.

I will give you 4 reasons why I believe I should be part of the team. Firstly, I am very good at what I do. Secondly, I aim for perfection, everything I do, I intend to do it to the T. Thirdly, I am good with organisation skill and Lastly I am reliable. Lately it is rare to find the person who possess all the 4 qualities, so I am the perfect person to join the team as I am a team player.
