+ Es un método costoso, complejo y extenso.+ Es realizado por un nutricionista o profesional de la salud que haya recibido un entrenamiento profesional. +Es necesario utilizar medidas antropometricas y pruebas de laboratorios. *No evaluá la capacidad funcional del paciene. +Tiene los siguientes componenentes: historia cl'inica, evaluación antropométrica, evaluación bioquímica, signos y síntomas clínicos.
+ Es un método económico, simple y rápido.+ Es realizado por cualquier profesional de la salud que haya tenido algún tipo de entrenamiento o capacitación. + No existe la necesidad de utilizar medidas antropométricas o pruebas de laboratorio. +Evlúa la capacidad funcional del paciente. +Se basa en pequeña historia clínica del paciente y en un examen físico.
