- Plan ahead- Set a "tone"- Scout locations - Get different angles (wide, medium, tight)

- What is your message?- Keep idea focused - Keep it short (1 pg. can be up to 2 min. of video) - Keep it simple

- Camera with external mic input & headphone jack- Monitor with headphones - Mic for shooting and for recording voice overs

- Set shot- Record (don't move shot) - Count to ten - Stop recording

- Add visual/sound FX - Trim clips for pacing - Add titles/transitions - Correct colors - Apply filters - EQ audio

- Follow structure from script and storyboard- Assemble clips in order - Make sure clips flow together (continuity)
