Piccadilly Circus
Piccadilly Circus is one of the most famous places in London full of surprises, its name Circus derives from its circular shape, in the square we find the statue of Eros a curiosity about this is that it was made with aluminum a material very dear to these times, also to protect it from bombs in the Second World War it was removed and replaced by billboards
Piccadilly Circus is also famous for its large illuminated signs that have been present since the beginning of the 90's, the first sign to be illuminated was that of Coca cola, these signs have never been turned off except for some funerals such as that of princess diana.
the politana metro station is located under the square itself, also in the western part we find a police telephone box which dates back to 1935 and is one of the few existing
