Milk graduated from the New York State College for Teachers and served in the U.S. Navy (1951–55) during the Korean War. But later he was dishonorably discharged for his homosexual.

• Harvey serves the Navy and expert deep sea diver, he was honorably discharged later on. (1951-1955)
• After a very long time, he had the courage to openly expressed his sexuality. (1970)
• Milk tried to run for supervisor of San Francisco fot the first time, but he didn't had enough soppurt. (1973)
• Milk is elected to the board of supervisors for his district in his fourth run for elected office. He becomes the first openly gay man elected to public office in the US.
• Dan White assassinates Harvey Milk and over 30,000 people peacefully march from Castro to City Hall and hold a candlelight vigil.
