Topic, sponsors and signers

Sponsors are the main solution supporters and they will be the ones to take the solution to GA (There must be two delegates as sponsors).

Signers are all the other delegations who support this solution (Do not include Sponsors).

Introductory Paragraph

This paragraph must use a preambulatory sentence and briefly describe the problem the committee is trying to solve. The paragraph must finish with the sentence "The UN Women Committee resolves"

Clauses

Use points that argument why the solution is being proposed.

Use both, preambulatory and operative phrases.

Preambulatory Phrases

States the reasons for which the committee is addressing the topic and highlights past international action on the issue. All preambulatory sentences must be underlined in italic.

• Calls

• Calls upon

• Condemns

• Confirms

• Congratulates

• Considers

• Declares accordingly

They offer solutions to the problems the preambulatory phrases suggest. They are action oriented. They should follow:

• They must not contradict one another.
• They should be detailed.
• They must end with a period.

The operatory phrase must be underlined and put in italic.

Conclusion

This part must explain shortly the possible benefits and results of the solution and why is it achieveable. It must be 4 lines or shorter.
