What is a verb tense, wrong word, or a run on?

• Verb Tense: Slight additions to verbs that make it in either a past, present, or future tense.
• Wrong word: Instances where a word has slight changes to another and are used incorrectly. (Example: Except or accept. Another one is: Your and You're.)
• A run on sentence: Two independent clauses merged together in one.

Dependent or subordinate clause?

• A dependent of subordinate clause is a part of a sentence that can not stand on it's own, it is not independent, and though it contains a subject and verb, it does not make sense by itself.
