Beef Ribs
This is preparation of beef ribs accompaniend by warm tortillas with a garnish of steamed nopales and onions seasoned with fine herb
Importance to the family
This dish is representative for my family because it is a meal to bring the whole family together and regardlees of the taste of each one everyone love it
Ingredients (serves 6)
- 1 kg beef ribs
- 30 nopales
- cambray onions
- oil
- fine herbs
Preparation
1. Fry the ribs in a wide and low pan with a drizzle of oil. When they begin to release fat, take them out of the pan. 2. In the same pan add the nopales (sliced in long and thick strips of about 1 cm) and the onions. And let them cook (at medium high heat) until the nopales change color and add bay leaf, oregano, salt and mix so that it is well cooked.} 3. Before the nopales are finished cooking, add the meat inside the pan and let it absorb all the flavor of the spices (lower the heat to minimum). After 5 minutes, turn off the heat and serve.
