Characteristics of the Glass Frog
This includes size, appearance, and interesting facts.
A Glass Frog's weight ranges from 5 to 14 grams or 0.2 to 0.5 ounces. Its weight ranges from 3/4 of an inch to 1 and a half inches. An interesting fact is that they can jump upwards of 10 feet! Also, they are nocturnal, which means that they will stay up all night! Lastly, They are known for their aggressive behavior.
Population With Glass Frogs
The glass frog gathers in typically small groups called "armies". Since that they live in the rainforest, they usually live on trees. One adaptation that the glass frog has is smooth, moist skin. This way, they can live up to 14 years in the wild. They reproduce from 18-30 eggs at a lifespan, but they do the bare minimum to take care of their babies.
