gel-X Nails

It is a nail tip that's applied directly onto your entire nail

Gel-X nails are a healthier alternative to acrylic nails

You're able to cut it into any size and shape you desire

It is applied with gel nail glue and dried under a LED lamp

Gel-X nails are similar to a gel manicure on press-on nails

With proper application they're able to last 2-3 weeks

Step 1

Wash and dry your Hands

To clarify...

• Washing your hands thoroughly allows you to work on clean surface

Push back your cuticles

To clarify...

• Use your cuticle pusher tool to push back your cuticles
• Push them back gently and slowly to risk any type of accidents
• Make sure your cuticles are even

• After gently pushing back your cuticles, only trim off the exposed cuticles

Step 1

Pick out your nail tips Sizes

To clarify:

• It important to pick out the perfect nail size
• Your nail tips should cover your whole nail (sidewall to sidewall)
• The wrong nail size can lead to lifting or a possible infection

Dehydrate your nail beds

To clarify:

• Apply the dehydrator to all your nails in order to remove shine and any oils
• This allows the tips to adhere better

Dehydrate your nail tips

To clarify:

• Dehydrating the inside of your nail tips allows the gel glue to adhere to your nail beds better

Apply the Gel Nail glue onto the tip

To clarify:

• Apply gel nail glue underneath the nail tip
• It takes practice to determine how much glue to apply (refer to the video for a guide)
• It is better to add too much glue rather than too little since your able to wipe away the excess

Place the tip onto your nail beds

To clarify:

• It is important to start placing your nails on at a 45º angle (refer to the video as a guide)
• Make sure the glue spreads over your entire nail bed
• Hold firmly, but not too hard to cause any leakage on the side (wipe away any excess)

Cure (Dry) your nails under the Nail lamp

To clarify:

• Place your nail under the lamp to cure for 60-90 seconds
• You know it is dry when it is firmly on your nail
• Depending on the type of lamp you have, angle it in a position where you're able to cure it

File away any excess nail glue and shine

To clarify:

• Once all your nails are firmly applied, file the surface of your nails using the filer

• This takes away any excess glue ontop of the nail as well as the shine
• You can also file your nails into your prefered shape

Buff your nails for a smooth surface

To clarify:

• Evenly buff the surface of your nails with the buffer to achieve a smooth surface
• Buff underneath your nails to get rid of the excess nails bits from shaping earlier (refer to the picutre as a guide)

Apply a thin and even layer of gel polish

To clarify:

• Apply a thin layer of polish onto the surface of your nail
• Applying a thick layer will cause your polish to "slip" and leak out onto your skin
• Wipe away any excess polish to avoid any future lifting

To clarify:

• Cure your nails under the LED nail lamp for 60-90 seconds (depending on your polish)
• Make sure not to touch them since they can still be sticky

• Apply another thin layer of polish ontop of your nails
• Making sure to apply it evenly so it doesn't appear transparent (unless that's the look you're going for)
• Wipe away any excess polish to avoid future lifitng

• If you want a more opaque look, repeat the polish and curing steps
