Coldplay is a British alternative rock band founded in 1996 in England by vocalist and pianist Chris Martin and guitarist Jonny Buckland at University College London.

the band

After forming Pectoralz, Guy Berryman joined the group as a bassist and they changed their name to Starfish. Will Champion joined as a backing vocalist and drummer, with no previous experience with the instrument. The band came under its current name when Tim Crompton, a friend of Chris's, suggested his group's old name, "Coldplay", as he considered it "overly depressing".

Christopher Anthony John Martin is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist, pianist, rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the rock band Coldplay. Born in Exeter, Devon, he went to University College London. Born 2 march 1977.

we chose this song because we like it so much, the lyrics and everything that makes us feel. It's special for each of us. We like coldplay and this song being authored by them makes it more important.

Opinion on the meaning of the song

When Chris Martin sings of seeing sparks, we believe he is referring to the passion and loveliness of his once flourishing relationship with his lover–not seeing sparks in his woman’s eyes after avowing to change.

Conclusion
