SyMBOLISMS
The animal's testicle represents a test of both manliness and strength after the tribe has hunted it down.
Ornaments indicate authority. For instance, the tribe's leader (Zero Wolf) wears a big necklace, and the guys who went hunting have earrings in their noses. The inhabitants living in the ziggurat are heavily ornamented, as the soldiers wears pins in their noses. Which simply means that the more you have, the higher position you occupy in society.
The sacrifice is depicted by the blue paint. It was blue because, according to their claims, that color is related to the heavens. Also, they believed that the color had something to do with how close they were to their gods.
The river represents a significant sacrifice to the people, and as such, it alludes to the chaos that struck the tribe that were on a hunt for Jaguar Paw.
The newborn infant submerged in water represents a new beginning, following in which the Spaniards arrived in their location.
