Ago is a time expression used to indicate how long before the present something happened.

Ago is only used with a length of time. For example: a couple of days ago a month ago 4 years ago

Spiderman swung through the city streets two days ago to stop a bank robbery. A week ago, Spiderman defeated the Green Goblin and saved the city from destruction. Two months ago, Spiderman revealed his true identity to his closest friends and allies.
