Euspinolia militaris, also called “Panda Ant” is a species of wasp in the family Mutillidae which lives mainly on the coasts of Chile and Argentina, in fact this species was discovered here in 1938.

It has been referred to as the "PANDA ANT" due to its coloration; he has a white coat, covering all of its head except the eyes, and black and white spots appearing over the rest of its body. Females are wingless and males have wings.

This insect may seem harmless, but its sting is one of the most painful in the world and can lead to death: in fact, the panda ant is also called "cow killer: have in fact a sting that may even be able to kill an animal as big as a cow. Precisely, it’s not the poison of the sting itself that kills, but the pain caused by the sting of this animal.
