Massimo Troisi

Massimo Troisi was an italian actor, comedian and film director. He was born on February 19th 1953 and he died on June 4th 1994. He was born in a family of 8 people! He loved the art, the theatre and the acting; he also wrote some poetry.

He created a comedy trio called "La Smorfia", which included Troisi, Enzo Decaro and Lello Arena.

One of his great friends was Roberto Benigni, they acted toghether in "Non ci resta che piangere" and after Troisi's death Benigni wrote a beautiful poetry in his honor. Another of his great friends was Pino Daniele (famous singer), Daniele took care of the soundtrack of Massimo's films.
