VII. HAZARDS
Some examples of hazard List:
Fire: if any metal things are put inside a microwave while it is on, for instance, it could catch fire.
Political Risk: as a result of the investment loss, the company can experience liquidity problems.
Stairs: when employees are hurt and unable to work for a while, the organization will be short-staffed and will have to pay the staff’s hospital bills, a significant 20-40% of income.
Hazard means a situation or thing that has the potential to harm a person.Hazards at work may include noisy machinery, a moving forklift, chemicals, electricity, working at heights, a repetitive job, or inappropriate behavior that adversely affects a worker’s safety and health.
How to report
All workers, including contractors, are required to complete an Accident and Incident Report Form or Hazard and Near- Miss Report Form if a hazard/injury/incident occurs as a result of work undertaken on behalf of ASQA, on ASQA premises or whilst on a work break or work travel.
Therefore, all workers should give a report form about injuries, incidents, near-misses and hazards.
Reporting needs to provide relevant, robust and timely information to inform decisions that influence ongoing business performance.
