What is future tense?

a tense expressing an action that has not yet happened or a state that does not yet exist.

used to indicate the future but with some type of connection to the present. Subject + verb to be + going to + prediction.

be going to

Express a prediction based on a present evidence. look at those black clouds. it is going to rain.

Express future plans decided before the moment of speaking. I am going to visit my friend tomorrow

Express something that is about to happen. don´t get near, the ballon is going to explode.

where there is no implicit or explicit connection to the present. Subject + will + prediction.

will

Express future action in an immediate way. I will eat sushi.

Express a future fact. The sun will rise tomorrow.

Express a predition based on personal opinions or experiences I think Cristiano Ronaldo will score two goals.

We use wont when someone refuses to do something. I won´t do that without my mom.
